The "Little Steps Academy" project is a comprehensive PHP-based preschool management system designed to streamline and enhance the administrative and operational functions of a pre-school. This system aims to provide an efficient, user-friendly platform for managing various aspects of the pre-school, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow for administrators, teachers, and parents.

INTRODUCTION:

The Pre-School Management System is a dynamic and efficient web application designed to simplify and automate the enrollment process for pre-schools. Developed using PHP and MySQL, this system ensures a seamless experience for both administrators and parents, enhancing the overall efficiency of the enrollment process.

OBJECTIVES:

To Automate and simplify the registration and enrollment process for new kids, reducing the need for manual paperwork and minimizing errors.
To Provide a user-friendly interface for parents to easily register their children online.
To Enable parents and administrators to monitor the status of enrollment applications in real-time.
To Provide detailed reports on enrollment statistics and application status.
To design the system to be easily scalable, accommodating the growing number of applications and expanding functionalities as the pre-school grows.

FUNCTIONALITIES:

Enrollment Process: Allow parents to fill the enrollment form in online thru pre-school website.
Schedule a Visit: Enable parents to schedule a visit for the school in advance with their preferred date and time.
Admission Management: Accept and Reject processes for new enrollments through integration with access control systems.
Admin Dashboard: Provide administrator with a centralized dashboard to monitor enrollments, manage managers & teachers, and generate reports.

ADMIN PANEL - FEATURES:

Can add new managers and manage existing managers in the system.
Can add new teachers with their subject specialization and manage existing teachers.
Can add new class for specific age group kids along with its timings and teachers assignment for it.
Can edit/manage existing classes and make updations at any time whenever required.
Can view and take actions by accept or reject on all kids enrollments made by their parents
Can view and update visitment status with official remarks, for parents whoever scheduled for a visit to the pre-school
Can edit/update pre-school website contact and about us pages.
Can able to view and export list of managers, teachers, classes offered in a neat tabular form with multiple printing options such as pdf, csv, excel.
Can view summarized dashboard with lot of useful info such as No of Managers, Working Teachers, Classes offered, Total enrollments, Total parents visitment to pre-school.
Can able to update profile info and change password.

PARENTS/GURADIANS - FEATURES:

Can view pre-school facilities, class offerings, teachers from Pre-school website.
Can schedule a visit along with their kids in preferred timing to visit the school.
Can able to enroll their kids in pre-school by choosing the preferred program.
Can contact pre-school staffs by provided contact details either online or by direct visit.
